Management systems allow cities to efficiently manage the luminous flux of their street lighting.
We developed the ECCOS energy management and control system to manage and dimm the luminous flux, from a single luminaire to a large group of lighting fixtures, so that the universe of luminaires in a city can be segmented by grouping (eg avenues), streets, parks, historic areas, etc.
The ECCOS system is subdivided into three categories to cover the different needs of any city or municipality.
ECCOS CITY bidirectional system enables the management of a wide range of light fixtures, individually or grouped. Each luminaire has its individual communication module built-in, supporting either GSM / M2M, Low Power WAN (LPWAN) using LoRaWAN® or NB-IoT according to the product technology version required. Managed within a central platform using Software as a Service (SaaS) model, accessible via a simple internet browser.
This system, with a very intuitive interface, enables a bidirectional communication with the luminaires, receiving technical data and optimizing the management and maintenance operations. At the same time, produces reports or structured data for further analysis.

ECCOS STREET is a dimmer system that controls the luminous intensity of street luminaires through a micro cut-off system.
Designed to control a set of luminaires, whose power supply depends on the same T.S. (Transformer Station), this system consists of modules (ECCOS ST1) that are installed in each luminaire and a controller module (ECCOS MM) that is installed in the T.S. with the capacity to manage up to 10 groups of luminaires, each one in its power supply phase.
ECCOS SINGLE is designed for dynamic power control in street lighting fixtures, road, urban or residential outdoor luminaires. Its small dimensions allow it to be perfectly integrated into virtually any luminaire.
The ECCOS SINGLE system is the simplest one in its family, allowing you to control one single luminaire. Depending on the version, this system allows you to define up to 16 factory-defined operating modes. Its great advantage is autonomy, as it does not need any additional control.

A progressive investment has been made in new connected LED luminaires, an investment that is intended to be broad, to give priority (…) to locations with a faster return on investment.
Why install sensors with monitoring of water quality parameters of the Nabão River? (…) Because it turns clear where the pollution focus are instead of thinking it’s along the whole river. The entire street lighting infrastructure of Cumeada has been replaced and the practical effect is – in addition to the quality of LED light – that we dim the lighting flux with a simple smartphone. (…) It doesn’t interfere with the normal life of people and in fact reduces the level of light pollution to a minimum in all the Dark Sky Reserve, the world’s first Starlight Tourist Destination.
We saved more than 80% of the energy we used to consume in this location (…) equals more than 100 thousand euros a year, in energy consumption, only here within the scope of the Boardwalk project.
